What we fetch
When you submit a web address, our server requests that one page, as a browser would (following up to 5 redirects). We don't crawl the rest of your site or any other site. If Google PageSpeed Insights is turned on, we send your address to Google so it can measure loading speed; Google handles that request under Google's privacy policy.
What we store
- Free reports: we don't save them, and we don't save the web address you checked. The report is built, shown to you, and discarded. The address travels in the page link (for example /check?url=...), so it can appear in your browser history and passes through Cloudflare like any web request.
- Fix packs: we don't keep a copy. When you pay, the web address you checked and a short summary of the results (which checks failed, plus the business name, phone number, towns and site builder we read from your public page) are saved with your payment at Stripe, so the pack can be rebuilt when you open your download link. The link works for 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records, including this information, under its own retention rules; we don't keep a separate copy.
- Abuse limits: to limit how many checks one connection can run, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address with a count, for up to 2 hours.
- Usage counts: we keep daily totals (how many reports were run, how many fix packs were paid). These counts contain no personal data. To count each payment once, we keep a one-way hash of the payment session ID for 3 days.
- We don't ask for or collect your email address, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe sends your receipt and keeps payment records under Stripe's privacy policy.
Hosting
This site runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes requests to it, including IP addresses, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
